Arcana Trail

The Arcana Trail is the latest addition to the Mobbs Valley trail system. The trail is now three loops. trail clearing work completed this year (Spring 2005) makes the trails easier to follow. Ride the trail backwards and, you will find it to be more challenging technically.

One of the loops feature a structural pass-through, also know as, the "Love Shack". Beyond this, the trail is marked by a design which will provide recurring technical challenges and elements which demand your attention. This is an intermediate level trail. Novices can challenge themselves with the trail, but will find it necessary to dismount at certain points. The Arcana Trail is adopted by Mike Dorey. Directions to the Trail

From I-89 Exit 11 – Richmond / Williston
Northbound Exit - Right at off ramp stop sign then immediate right on to Route 117 West.
Southbound Exit - Left at off ramp stop sign - go 0.2 miles then right on to Route 117 West.
On Route 117 go 2.5 miles, then turn right on Barber Farm Road

Schillhammer Road Entry – go 1.3 miles on Barber Farm road then turn left on Schillhammer Rd, and go 0.6 miles. Park in front of chain between 2 trees, on RH side of road. Room for two vehicles. Posted signs do not apply to trail.

Barber Farm Road Entry – go 2.1 miles on Barber Farm Road then bear right onto
Fitzsimonds Rd. Park in triangle where 2 roads meet. Trail entry is 500 yards down Barber Farm Road (where you just came from) on the right marked by a satellite dish and a rope between two stakes. (From here it is also a five-minute bike ride down Fitzsimonds Rd to Mobbs)
