I see there is discussion about a yellow loop at Mud Pond and a trail on the map to Lake Iroquois.  Will this be a riding option this summer? -Brian.

Last night I attended an Essex town discussion regarding a proposal offered by the landowner concerning the Saxon Hill area.  I was wondering if anyone might know of any organized preservation efforts in which I might be able to participate.  I realize this is a touchy subject, and possibly not one to discuss in this forum, but I'm just looking to help in any way I can.

Noticed a dude riding a very muddy fat bike from the general vicinity of sunny hollow... it's still ski season!

I miss my warm up route in Sunny Hollow where I looped around to the right and get into Moose Hill from the fire roads . Now its all closed off by the Federales. The bridgework looks real nice down on the Brook Crossing trail. I'll have to go back up to Moose Hill to check out the new stuff. Thanks everyone involved in the refinements.

As an aside, there is Lots of Dog waste on the straight access road into the park. ugh.

Carse Hills new freeride trail is very fun and worth the drive. Voodee Child I think it is called. Very worth the ride to Hinesburg.

Another fun ride in Colchester is behind the High school out to the Water tower hill. No Map yet but I'll see if i can get one to upload. Town Rec department just had a fun race called Muck it Up. Bike, Run and paddle.

For you hammer heads out there do this ride. Front door to Henrys up Backdoor left side (its hidden) dragons tail to Wolfy to enchanted forest to lost trail to passing the Horizon. Then go up to Sleepy hollow and ride Toutine to storm trooper and down Gettin better. Then ride the road back to Huntington, buy a PBR pounder and ride back to your car. About 3.5 hours if you just ride. All of it is in great shape. Thanks FOTW!

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for keeping things going for such an awesome summer of riding so far. I have a question about vouchers for 5-pack members. My brother is in town visiting and I have two vouchers for KTA, do I just show up there and say I'm a FOTW 5-pack member and can get the vouchers? Is it possible to use one for my brother?

    Cheers guys!

Just ran into Andy and Mickey working hard at Sunny Hollow.  Those guys bust their butts hauling rocks, wood for bridges, dirt etc.  All of the trail work these guys have done this year has made the local riding the best ever.  From Mud pond to Carse hills and all points in between they have been busy.  Favorite is the new re-routes and crushed rock work on Front Door I ride a single speed so now Front door is more fun. Lots of thought went into that work and it turned out great.  So with that said, remember our dues pay these guys..where can you get such great riding for such a bargain price?  If you want to give more to a great cause do it.  I plan to give more.  Andy and Mickey put their heart and soul into every trail project they do.  Thanks again,  Tim
