Mobbs Valley

As Mobbs has become somewhat crowded, please consider riding the nearby Arcana Trail, recently expanded to three loops, on Barber Farm Rd. (click here for details).

Mobbs Valley has been described as a "roller-coaster" of intermediate level singletrack. The loop is fast and super fun and may be tackled in both directions (although it was laid out to be ridden in the direction as marked). The loop also features 5 beautiful bridges across ravines (built by the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps www.vycc.org). There are also some pre-existing double track trails for the beginner who is not quite ready for the concept of riding single-track. The Mobbs Valley trail was carefully thought out to take advantage of all the salient features of the topography, as well as all the variety mother nature has to offer (including a wonderful swimming hole!). Mobbs Valley trail has been adopted by Dick, Lupe, & Sydney Sears. If you note problems, obstacles, or have suggestions, please contact them at searsd@biotek.com.
