Tarbox Hill Road Loop

Tarbox Road Loop/ UVM Research Forest-work has begun on the opposite side of the Mill Brook beginning with a bridge over the brook connecting form the Mobbs Valley's southernmost tip. This half-mile intermediate loop, which connects up to Tarbox Road, will be the beginning of the trail that will someday connect southward to Richmond Village and northward to the Saxon Hill Town forest in Essex. Directions to the Trailhead

From Governor Peck Rd. turn onto Tarbox Rd., the apex of the Tarbox Rd. loop is about 1/2 mile on the right hand side (look for yellow directional signs), shortly after the Vermont Bonsai Center. You may also access the Tarbox Rd. loop from Barber Farm Rd. If you do, simply go almost to the other end of Tarbox (from Barber Farm Rd.) and look for the small parking area on the left and the yellow trail indicators.
