Saxon Hill Summit Loop needs you! We made a huge dent last week, but we are going back for more each week. We need your help in two important ways:
TRAIL WORK!
We are going to keep these work days going as close to weekly as we can. Come out and help us stay ahead of the machines. We are moving branches, saplings and pre-cut logs off the trail corridor.
Let’s meet at Saxon Hill on Wednesday July 22nd for a work day. This work just requires some extra light to moderate lifting.
Bring a bike and we can ride out, or take a walk and meet us! We will meet at the Thompson Dr lot at 5:30 and head out from there. This is like a group ride and work day rolled into one!
FUNDRAISING!
If you have ever wanted a little bit more out of Saxon Hill, now is the time to step up!
We were able to raise just over another $1,000 this past week. That brings our total fundraising up to $6,000 for this trail. FOTW has raised over $80,000 of funds to make this trail a reality and now we need you to make it something special.
We are trying to raise a total of $25,000. These funds will directly impact the quality of the trail build.
Machines are breaking ground this week! We to have more updates for you as the summer rolls on. Sometimes, seeing is believing. We will show you what is possible and with your help, we can make it all happen
