Volunteer Trail Clinic – Hinesburg Town Forest

RSVP HERE to let us know you are coming!
Fellowship of the Wheel is hosting a Trail Clinic! If you have been to one of our trail days in the past, this will look and feel all the same, but is more than just a trail day. This series of Trail Clinics throughout the 2025 season will provide volunteers of all abilities with knowledge about trail construction, the tools for the job, along with the methods needed to safely execute trail work projects.
All trail clinics begin with a discussion about the tools we use, safe operation, and a summary of some trail projects where you can get your hands dirty. Then we’ll head out to the trails as we walk through the steps to install upgrades throughout the network. Expect to walk about 1-2 miles depending on the work site!
This week, we will do some work focused on re-tuning the Back Door and Stealth trail at HTF. We are doing cleanup of washed out sections from flooding and installing more prominent drains for future rains!
Where and When:
1950 Lincoln Hill Rd, Carse Hills/Hinesburg Town Forest – Wednesday August 27th – 5:30pm
We will meet at the parking area located along the roadside for Carse Hills and Hinesburg Town Forest on Lincoln Hill. Please arrive by 5:30pm with plans to hit the trail shortly after!
