Rogue One Ribbon Cutting at Sleepy Hollow

Posted by | September 4, 2018 | | No Comments

This Sunday, November 4th, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM we will be celebrating the completion of the first phase of our new trail, Rogue One, at Sleepy Hollow Inn: Ski and Bike Center. Rogue One was built using a Vermont Mountain Bike Association trail grant and is geared towards strong intermediate and advanced riders. It combines many different human-made and natural technical features, including berms, small tables, ledges, and optional rock rolls and drops. The first phase is one mile in length, climbing from Princess Leia to a new peak area before descending down to Darth Vader.

We will have time to do some riding and check out the new trail, followed by an indoor gathering at Sleepy Hollow Inn with free food from the Skinny Pancake and Love Local Catering, as well as refreshments. Feel free to BYOB as well.

We will have guided rides for different ride paces and abilities, including:

-Advanced ride at 1:15 PM about 2.5 hours in duration with approx 2000 feet of climbing.

-Intermediate ride at 2:00 PM about 2 hours in duration and approx 1200 feet of climbing.

-Social paced ride at 2:00 PM about 2 hours in duration and approx 800 feet of climbing.
