This ride is part of the 2019 Summer interchapter women’s series with us, Richmond Mountain Trails, Stowe Trails Partnership and the Waterbury Area Trails Alliance – WATA as well as one of our monthly Tuesday night women’s rides sponsored by Halyard Brewing Co.
If you ride a mountain bike and your pronouns are she/her/hers, you are welcome to join us! We generally split up into three different groups, so there are places for those who want to keep it mellow and chat as well as those who want a more challenging ride. All of our groups are “no-drop”. We will plan to start riding by 6:00PM so try to arrive by 5:45. Usually, the rides last 1.5 hours. We will also have demo bikes from Outdoor Gear Exchange and Skirack!
After the ride, treat yourself to some social time and R&R at Sleepy Hollow Inn. We will be joined by Sarah and Brittany of Burlington Physical Therapy who will be there to offer bodywork while we sip some Halyard Ginger Beer. Feel free to bring something tasty to share!
The terrain at Sleepy Hollow is generally intermediate to advanced, but we want to encourage everyone to give it a try if you are interested! It is always okay to take it slow and walk your bike. If you aren’t sure, please shoot an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, as she’d love to make something work for you.
